amazing articles mate.
i also bought the murder in the front row book by the biggest reason of the possessed shots. you didn't upload all the shots like the 2 pages about larry lalonde on marshall stacks shot and more, etc.. though.
wow, i always think i need to get that 3 lps box set and a seven churches 7" box set by century media someday. nice ones.

Thanks so much bro ! Nice hearing from you. Man, I completely forgot about the 7" box set. I will upload that later today just for you. Also you're right about the other photos. I left out quite a few nice shots from that book. I will upload those as well. That box set was a gift several years back. They're pretty hard to find now. I tried to upload as much from the ' Seven Churches ' era as possible. But there just wasn't that much available back then. Most of the major magazines didn't cover these bands because of the content. And also at that time was the beginning of the P.M.R.C. ( Parents Music Resource Center ). It was so difficult for magazine publications, record shops and radio stations to promote this music and bands without feeling the backlash of this organization. They were practically breathing down your neck. It was almost like you were dealing in contraband. You had to buy things practically in secret. Nowadays it's so much easier. Anyhow there is probably a lot of fanzine articles out there someplace.

many years ago, i was searching for a pic of seven churches promo ad on ebay and google for a while but i couldn't find any. it didn't seem to be exist. so i checked only some promo ads about beyond the gates and the eyes of horror. it's the first time i've seen some small seven churches promo by your posting. well, i just like to see all kinds of old promo adverts like about instrument, gears, movies, japanese books etc.
what a nice gift man. the 7" box set is sold on discogs now but a few ones.. seems like prices became higher than before.

Looks like a couple of new rarities here- that Dark Tales addition is killer. Dont remember seeing that one- very cool and Im sure practically impossible to find any of those issues. Is that U.S. Metal article new also? Your Possessed collection is unmatched, I don't think I'll ever catch up.

Thanks always. Just found that Dark Tales recently, had to add it. I already had that U.S. Metal posted. Sometimes I forget and have to look again. Still searching for the early years. Probably a lot of fanzines that will never surface. But one never knows. Your Possessed is filling up nicely.

Which album is best in terms of heaviness and pure evil, Seven Churches, Darkness Descends, Hell Awaits, or Pleasure To Kill!? That a tough one, huh.

You got that right ! Possessed hardly had much in terms of posters and advertisements. There's a lot of fanzines they appeared in, but you can just forget about trying to pin those down. Man, that question is one that has plagued the Metal World. It's a question that just can't be answered. But if I had to lean one way, it would basically be ' Hell Awaits ' with ' Seven Churches ' right on their tail. It pains me to leave the other two on the back end.

I think that long article with the full page B/W photo, guitars in hand is new and that FN KILLS! What a rarity- never seen that shot- you once again took the already huge lead and stretched the bar even further. I would be happy with just adding the ctrfld from ULTRAKILL to my collection at this point.
