Definately go and see them, you won't regret it trust me. They are an amazing live band. You will have to start listening to more of their songs, some songs i like by them that you should listen to are Stones of Sorrow, The Burning Pits of the Duat, Kafir, Hittite Dung Incantation, Annihilation of the Wicked, Sacrifice Unto Sebeck, Cast Down the Heretic, Serpent Headed Mask, Black Seeds of Vengeance, Sarcophagus, Unas Slayer of the Gods, Rameses Bringer of War, Execration Text, Permitting The Noble Dead To Descend To The Underworld, The Black Flame, 4th Arra of Dagon, Chapter for Transforming into a Snake, Masturbating the War God, The Blessed Dead. To many to list really, they have heaps of good songs but i have just given you 19 of them both off of different albums (old ones and new ones), so yeah listen to all of them and you can decide for yourself if you want to go and see them live. But coming from me i would say go see them, they're awesome.
See them! Honestly, they're an awesome band.
I talked to Karl before the concert for about an hour (he was playing outside the club and actually nobody except for myself dared to talk to him). He is a nice and funny guy.
Nile rules. I've had ears toward their work since they began; it was a time when the At The Gates/Dark Tranquility/Soilwork stuff was big news in "big" metal - Nile breathed necessary life into death metal at that time (thanks to their dedicated vision and artistry w/ the Egyptian themes)...they're a great resource with guitar clinics and online vids breaking down riffs and techniques, warm-ups... Truly a respectable act that invites and encourages inspired metal now...and in the eras to come.

Great t-shirt! Amazing show, I saw them in Wellington, unfortunately there was no Nile merch available at that show for reasons unknown
