Here's something special. Necro schizma was a Dutch band that played Hellhammer-esque black/doom metal at the end of the 80's and released one demotape. In 2001 their only demotape 'Erupted evil' was rereleased with some livetracks on CD, and in 2010 once again, but this time with an unreleased second demo as a bonus, and for the first time also on vinyl.
This shirt bears the artwork that the second unreleased demo was supposed to have. A friend of mine used to be in contact with Cronald (legendary singer of Necro schizma) when he was asked to draw a cover for their second demotape. He did, sent the original to the band, and thought it was never used as the demotape was cancelled in the end.
20 years later I manage to get my hands on this shirt, which used to belong to Conscicide from Bestial summoning if I remember correct, who killed himself in 2008. And I am able to show it to my friend, who hadn't seen his own drawing in over 20 years.
Best looking shirt in the world? Not by far. Mint condition? Certainly not. Legendary shirt for a legendary band? Absolutely.
Killer shirt and cool story. Got the stuff Black Vomit released in 2010. Along with Sempiternal Deathreign they are 2 of the most underrated dutch bands
Check out Korsakov and Pyathrosis, two of my favourite 'unknown' bands from Holland! Together with the Swedish scene the Dutch scene must be my favourite. Poland had a range of killer bands too in the late 80's and early 90's.
The HH/Necro Schizma and Funeral Doom comment is pretty spot on. Necro Schizma were real heavy even without a bassist, and the slowed down pace is very much in the vein of Funeral Doom.
Never seen another one of these either. There's a shirt for the Erupted evil demo with just the cover, but I have only seen it on old photographs, never in real life.
