Morbid Angel "blessed are the sick" bootleg shirt

Recently got this bootleg version of the Australian morbid obliteration of downunder 1992 tour shirt. It looks pretty decent but the front and back prints are blurred compared to the original (pictured here for comparison). We can't really figure out the river of bodies from the Delville painting on front. I tend to prefer how the logo looks on the bootleg though.

i don't know what the consensuses is on this site as far as bootlegs go but i don't really mind them myself, bit of DIY attitude. not a big fan of the design but i like how the support bands are listed on the back, that's a nice touch.

Save one or two, all of the support bands for this tour are big names as well.

Yeah I agree with you with the DIY thing. I’m generally not a boot fan, but I have to admit that some bootlegs look better than original shirts, well not this one for sure haha, but that’s why I still mind bootlegs. So, to me, the reason for buying some boots is that they look great and fit nicely, when some newer official shirts tend to have too big prints that don’t look great on S or M sizes, printed on some cheaper brand in which I don’t like the shape and thus never wear them. And I got this particular shirt, first because I thought that the art would look better in real, then because I have more than 100 official MA shirts and have no problem with buying some boots to expand my collection, and finally because this particular one is a boot from one of the rarest shirts I have but with the front logo looking better than on the original in my opinion, but just the logo haha.

Wow, they butchered the artwork on that boot.

HA, your thumbnail is the same artwork, was that deliberate?

No sorry. Its from one of my shirts.

Haha yeah the art don’t look great, details don’t stand out at all. I still like how the front logo looks, more than on the original actually.

a bit blurry..indeed....but its not that u can see every single body on the original..haha.. i rly like the backprint...but the front ...well..was never a fan of it

That's right, the original one has not much details on it either, compared to, let's say, the 20 years of sickness shirt. But considering the time when it was printed, I find it great, and I really like how it looks.
