Unfortunetely hot topic is selling merch for good bands. I ordered the redux verison of "The Art Of Partying". I got it through Earache but it had a sticker saying it was the Hot topic edition, sux man. Gaytallica, lol that is good though.
Nobody where I live wears any metal shirts what so ever. I guess it would be annoying to see people running around in hot topic shirts and jc penny shirts. Though, I wear my shirts because I like the bands. I don't really care where they come from anymore. I have 4 different metallica shirts, an iron maiden shirt and a Sabbath shirt from Jc Penny. A megadeth shirt I got off this one kid who got it at hottopic and I got another maiden shirt from walmart. I love those bands so I got those shirts the moment I came across them. If Jc, walmart or K-mart was selling a shirt with artwork I dont have yet, I'm gana get it. Don't get me wrong, not all my shirts are from stores like that. Though, it angers me to see some 8 year old in the same Metallica or Maiden shirt as me, or worse. A kid who's mom got it for them because they thought it looked cool. If you like the band and the album, I say wear it. (Though the quality of mass produced shirts like these suffers.) Pretty soon, those stores wont be selling those shirts anymore. And then you wont see people wearing them anymore unless they're a real fan and hold on to their stuff. It's how it was with my jc 1994 Doris and sabbath, nobody wears those anymore. Don't make a scene, wear the fucking shirt!

I hear you; Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer were good. Metallica bored me to tears. I left early.
