Well, Jethro Tull did beat Metallica for the "best heavy metal performance" in the Grammy's in 1992. LOL!
Are rock shirts off bounds here? I sure hope not. Jethro Tull, AC/DC, Molly Hatchet, Yes, etc. may not be heavy metal bands, but they are respected bands and bands that were influential in and out of the metal scene.
I agree that Jethro Tull is not metal. But it is rock, so it would fit the criteria. I've got over 3,000 cd's in my collection and have been going to concerts for over 30 years now and have been going to about 25 concerts a year for the last 5 years. There are lots of bands on here that I don't listen to, but I can appreciate a great kutte or shirt.

Let us not forget that Iron Maiden did a B-side cover version of Jethro Tull's "Cross-Eyed Mary" many years ago.

I have that as a picture ep. I'll have to find it and scan it.

freaking awesome, the cover of Aqualung is great, and the album a complete classic.
