1988 marked the end of era for Maiden. Not only seeing the last album and tour of their 'classic' lineup, but also the end of their brilliant tour shirt designs. 1980's metal fashions (particularly in the US) were defined by two shirts - the baseball jersey and the muscle top. Iron Maiden produced more of these than any other band of the period.
This shirt would be the last US baseball jersey printed for 17 years! I love this design to death. My favourite Derek Riggs pic from the album, the white shirt shows off the colour much better than the Euro black shirts to come.
