(Ultra-rare late 1970's first ever Iron Maiden band t-shirt, sold at their late 70's pub gigs before the release of their 1980 debut. Featuring the iconic 'Busk' typeface logo, according to myth: Bassist Steve Harris chose the font being inspired by the 1976 film poster for 'The Man Who Fell To Earth starring David Bowie'. Short sleeve graphic t-shirt with the logo screen printed on red fabric with no collar label. Has a distinct reinforced hem on the collar and sleeves. This differs from subsequent fanclub reproductions which modernised these features [reducing the neck size opening and making it a crewneck hole. as well as increasing the size of the sleeves, going from almost cap sleeve to true short sleeve sizing] indicating this is a genuine, original article. Overall, an astounding holy grail item for an Iron Maiden collector. A true piece of heavy metal history
