Iron Maiden Japan 81 Killer
Fucking monumental shirt from the Japanese Tour in 81.
For 20 + years I've been searching for this, and the last 10 spent trying to find any record or picture of it anywhere. Long time Maiden collectors told me it didn't exist, but I never lost faith.
I had no idea what it even looked like for sure.
And then...this was listed on Ebay for $80 !
With the shirt found, it was time to trawl back through my photo archives and incredibly, there it was. A shot of the band out in Tokyo. I'd disregarded the shirt Eddie is wearing as just the standard Euro tour shirt. But look closely, and you can see the logo passes through Eddies head - and the red Killer text is just visible to the left of the pic.
