Grave - Endless Procession of Souls Tour 2013 (Australia, Asia, Middle East) shirt

Saw them last night - gig was killer. Shame the attendance was low. This gig had to compete with the Opeth / Katatonia show and the Ensiferum show - all 3 gigs on the same night.

Dude i can't thank you enough for putting this shirt on here. I didn't even know Grave were coming back to Australia but thanks to you i will be seeing them again this Wednesday in Adelaide. I'm actually really surprised (but extremley happy) that they added Adelaide to their tour because when i saw them in 2008 there was only 33 people at the show!

Last night there was around 80 or so - very poor attendance but they were on a night with 2 other big gigs on.

Three gigs on the same night... and I'm lucky if there's anything even slightly relative to my interests here!

Grave I'm interested in. The others I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. Ok, Opeth's first few albums were ok but they turned to lullaby metal very quickly. Australia has been blessed this year - lots of cool bands have toured and more tours coming up. No one used to tour here cos were in the arse end of the world - but now bands are so hungry for money (mostly due to illegal music downloading) that they'll play here and anywhere. Us Australians aren't complaining though (expect that our tickets cost 3 times what they do anywhere else in the world and with a flood of gigs that have happened and are going to happen, we'll all be fucking broke very soon).

+1 to the preferences. I'll admit a few good shows come through here, but distance and venue selection really screws me over. 3 hour drives and 21+ venues just don't work out.

Grave are playing in melb on sunday and so are gunners. I forgot it was the same date and have tickets to both. I have never seen gunners and ZZ top so I am going to that gig and gave away my grave ticket. fucking cursing its on the same night

ZZ top I heard were great. As for GnR, I heard the same as every other gig - same horrible band. I saw them back in 2007 (I think) and I walked out after 3 songs. It was so bad. Appetite for Destruction is the greatest rock album ever made - no band has come close since it was released and no band ever will - it's rock perfection from beginning till the end - no filler - all killer - but GnR are ultimately one record wonders. Nothing else they released (except for Lies, maybe) is utter shit.

oldmate's picture

yea.. the problem is I dont think ZZ top or Grave will come back to australia, but who knows. I got a feeling GnR will be shit but I would just like to see him perform once. if its super shit ill do the dash and goto grave.. and the cunt I gave the ticket to can pay for me to get in

Also your 100% right Appetite for Destruction is the greatest heavy rock album ever made. I dont mind a few tracks here and there after that.. but its been all downhill after that album.

Damn, thats a pretty hard decision I'd say. I would go to Opeth myself because they're one of my all time favorite bands though. But don't get me wrong, I'd love to catch Grave too! and I can imagine it was great, just like Opeth and Ensiferum probably were too haha

Shirts were $30. There was this print and another one that looked great as well but didnt have the tour dates on the reverse - it had a something else printed on the back. And, they had Grave women's undies - yes, you read that correctly! Hahah

Blüdrayne's picture

i... have no reason to buy a pair.
butyeah, a few DM bands do that. cannibal corpse has too, iirc.
no patches? longsleeves?

1
Rotten's picture

No patches. And I didn't see any long sleeves. Maybe they did but could have sold out so I'm unsure.

Blüdrayne's picture

ok cool, thanks.
will be back with actionshots soon!
