Deathcore was a death metal band from Germany. The coolest aspect about them was their name. I know deathcore is now used by kids with tight pants and spacers in their ears, but people who have old magazines will know that the term was first used in the 80's to describe the most filthy bands around, first wave black and death metal bands like Master, Salem, Black shepherd,...
Not sure when this shirt was released, as Religious fanatics was a song that was featured both on the demo (1987) and the debut (1990). Stylistically this leans more towards the demo artwork than the debut artwork, but might as well have been released in 1990. I should check some old Nuclear blast catalogues maybe.
Anyway, the debut wasn't all that great and I've never heard the demotape. So that's probably the reason why, despite having released an album on Nuclear blast in the glory years, this band is now not often talked about.
