There is a bootlegger who is printing these right now for $60usd posted. He did this design, desire and sadomas"
All have varying sleeve prints( sadomas design has "dead girls don't say no sleeve prints for example. Its a real shame because now these are popping up on ebay for a few hundred each, and unsuspecting people are getting scammed. Unfortunately this is 100% bootleg. Its unfortunate because now bootleggers are legitimately printing bootleg tags, and its getting harder to tell. But Yes, I can 100% show you where to buy these right now :(
Just an example. All of these shirts are bootlegs( he even states that these are reprints), They all have different tags ranging from bruckum, screen stars, giant etc.
Yeah that too. But as I said the quality and extent of these bootlegs is just getting more and more sophisticated. Its actually kind of turned me off the collecting a little bit. But it is what it is. Someone will always exploit something for personal gain, but just frustrating for people who unknowingly get scammed into paying more than these boots are worth because they are passed off as legitimate.
Thanks all, now im getting clear the difference of bootleg and official, especially for this “Destroyer of World”. It’s obviously on printing and copyright. I attached ads picture for the official piece.
to my knowledge they never had a 'brockum' licence - especially in 1997...
the sleeve prints are from the 'desire' longsleeve but with different colour...
as dave said before the 'destroyer' shirt/LS was first released in 2000 (blue grape tag i think) as one can see in the merch flyer from that time (included with midian cd)

Hi Mate, sorry to ask, may you share why you said this is a bootleg? Its can be recognised on the copyright and print?

It's just getting harder to tell these days. Sucks for genuine collectors

So are you saying this guy is printing his own screen stars tags for the shirts to???
JayGrinder on
Yes, they are bootlegging Giant and brockum tags too.
It's ridiculous. And yes I'm serious. Absolutely frustrating for collectors

The fact this shirt was released in 2000 and it has a 1997 copyright was a bit of a give away as well

Definitely buyers beware

Pretty sure all the cradle bootlegs by this person are screen stars tags. Here's a picture of his tags
JayGrinder on
Yes, that's the problem with these bootlegs
JayGrinder on
No sorry. I've never bought one myself.
These are just how advertised

Thanks for the clarification. The sleeve prints should have been enough for me to know but sadly I didn’t. Even has a screen stars tag.

There is something horribly wrong with the font in CRADLE OF FILTH , like when you copy it but you lose about 10% of the original shape or something
