brutal t-shirt, i wish i saw that tour back in the day, all bands were at the top of their game, it must have been mind blowing to witness that first hand.
This actually came from some goth kid I went to highschool with in the late 90's. Some old school metalhead had given him a ton of shirts and he would just give them to whoever wanted them. I actually lost this to a roommate (stuff got mixed up/stolen?) who's ex-girlfriend ended up with it. Long story short, I traded her for a bunch of shirts and this was one of the ones I got back. I agree, Alice in Chains sucks, you can see the leftover whiteout on their name from when I crossed it out in school. They definitely should have had Exodus or someone else on that bill.
Great shirt indeed. And Alice in Chains fucking rules. Dirt is such an awesome album and I love their comeback as well. Alice in Chains and Soundgarden should never be lumped with all the grunge shit.
I don't know man, I can definitely appreciate a wide variety of music but I just couldn't get into them. Them and Soundgarden are definitely right up there along side all that other crap that was churned out of Seattle though. I mean they are the lesser of two evils, but they should of been playing Lollapalooza not Clash of the Titans. I'd like to know who made that executive decision, especially when Suicidal Tendencies took their spot during the European wing of the tour.
I think this tour would have been the closest to a Big 4 tour or concert you could have gotten at the time. If i was born in the 70's or 80's ( born in 95') I would have went to this landmark show.

No matter what you think about Alice in Chains, you gotta admit they don't at all fit on a bill with 3 of the biggest thrash metal bands.

Exactly!

True, true, kinda the odd man out here, but still a good band.
