yeah, nice shirt... didn't bought it at the tour... it's a recent find. Maybe i told it before... i know this store, that still has new old stock shirts... stuff that's been hanging around for 25+ years at that place.... picked this one up with a bunch of other shirts
No I didn't know that. You're lucky you have a store like that near you. We used to have a store here in Chicago called Land of the Lost. I never went there, but I heard their basement was filled with old band, sports, and comic t shirts for dirt cheap. This one guy I know got a Rush shirt from the late 70s there as well as some Batman shirt he got for 50¢. He ended up selling it on eBay where it sold for almost $500!!!
damn, that was a good investment haha ... that kind of deals are getting rare; almost everyone knows what this stuff is worth these days with ebay etc to check for prices......
Yeah definitely. It's ridiculous how much some stuff goes for on eBay. There's an original Altars of Madness back patch on there that someone's already bid $5,000 for!!!
Well,I guess when I finally arirve there, everything will be already sold out and the store will be closed, cause I won't make it in the next 5 years, hehehehe,I'm just a poor student)
yes, that will be the case i'm afraid... the son of the owners is taking over and he's gradually turning it into an army dumpstore.... and that's how a great store disappears again .... man, this place used to be like a time-capsule: i bought a lot of stuff there in the early 90's ... and for a couple of years ago, it was just like in the old days....
That is very sad, man, just really sad, there is already too many shitty army stores and only a few old merch stores.
Well, one of my dreams is to visit such store,I always wanted to buy bunch of some deadstock old shirts and not only shirts:)
yeah, pretty cool shirt... oh man i can tell you a horrible story.... bought it at that shop in Amsterdam ( i told you the story of that shop before)... had a nice stack including this one.... and a killer Mordred- In this life tourshirt; it had a rip but not that bad that it couldn't be repaired... so i go the lady, to ask if i could buy it for less.... She sees the shirt, pulls it from hands, looks at it... and tears it in two parts !!!!! Man, that was a nasty thing to see hahaha
