That old helmet on the front looks so awesome. It always reminds me of Graveland. Any helmet with the full 360 degree aventail fuckin kicks ass, but it's not fun if you have a beard.
It's often called the Sigurd Helm for some reason, I guess it just looks fucking epic! Real scourge of the North, especially when two piercing eyes stare out of the cavities. I guess it was a good option for beardless fellows to look more imposing - there are some other viking helms (especially the Vendel and Valsgarde nasal ones) that seem to go better with epic beards, but those long nasal "beaks" won't look as imposing when worn by someone with bare chin.
