ABSU - Extremely Rare 1992 First Shirt Ever Made
Almost impossible to find and rare as hell, this is the first Absu shirt ever made. The front print logo was done by Equitant, and the back print illustration was done by Chris Moyen. There were 30 of these made in total, printed by Russ's dad in September 1992. It was originally printed in metallic silver ink, but the metallic look of the ink has almost faded away (it's easier to see in real life). The silver ink on black must have looked amazing when it was first printed...
I acquired this through Equitant's personal archives.

Thanks, I agree with you! I've never seen the logo anywhere else either - but I love it. I wish that Absu used the logo for other materials; it's badass...

I see Equitant selling all kinds of crazy shit on Facebook and Ebay and this is an amazing find from their Death Metal days. I've never even seen that version of their logo before!

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah I had never seen it before either. Apparently it was only used for the shirt and some gig flyers. They changed the logo because it was too hard to read, and Osmose probably would have wanted a different logo too. This is what Equitant told me. Nice guy!
