I would imagine. He always came off to me like Pete Townshend: a creative genius who's hard to approach unless you're in his circle. I have a friend who met Pete and he wouldn't give an autograph or shake his hand but he would talk. I guess the 2 minutes they talked though was very uncomfortable. Roger and John (R.I.P.) were cool though.

very good comparison... went to see Fish together with a friend ;after the show we both wanted some stuff signed.... Fish totally ignored my friend and took all the time for me... definitely not a guy you want to mess around with

Wow! Yeah that sounds like Fish in a nutshell. Hope he tours the states next year or does something for the 30th anniversary of Misplaced Childhood.
