A very limited edition unofficial CD single featuring ultra-rare Sabbat tracks.
That's the short version!
The longer version: Presumed lost, but recently rediscovered, live tracks from an early Sabbat gig at the Mardi Gras, Nottingham, in 1987. There is a mystery about the track 'Kingdom Come' - on the original tape Andy Sneap wrote the gig date as 29/2/87 but in fact there was no 29/2/87. Martin's comments in talking to the crowd put this as no later than January 1987 so possibly this was recorded on 29/1/87?
This matters because 29/1/87 was the day that Andy's mentor - David Halliday, of Hell - committed suicide. Martin dedicates Kingdom Come to 'a very dear friend of ours, one of the best' without mentioning a name. Was it him, and did they already know at that point he was dead? If so, there must have been a reason that Kingdom Come in particular was dedicated to him, rather than any other track, and if so it may explain why Kingdom Come was never played or heard of again from that day onwards.
It might also explain why the following year Andy would subconsciously assign a date that had never existed rather than admit one which he must have wished had never happened?
This gig has the only known recording of second song, "Beauty And The Beast" too, which features as the second song here.
A real rarity this one - and by some margin the most expensive CD I've paid for - but of genuine historical interest for Sabbat fans.
