Well I didn't want to spend too much money since I bought a few things there, plus I'm weary on buying older records in case there's scratches. I'll probably get the CD version instead.
I saw them twice on the Time Machine tour with my dad who also saw them on the Moving Pictures tour. Hope to see them again! Missed them on the Clockwork Angels tour so really bummed out there.
My parents saw all the great shows in the 70s and 80s. Actually, my mom saw The Rolling Stones on the Some Girls tour when she was 14 (the same age I was when I saw them last year) for $12!!! My ticket was $250 0.0
ah, man... it's like the Vitus album... Born too late.. what a wonderful, great shows they must have seen in the 70's..... the Stones play Pinkpop this year... it's a ridiculous shit festival for trendy stupid people... but i would loved to see them... sold out in one day... damn
They put on an amazing show for their age. Too bad I probably will never see them again haha. I couldn't agree more with the Vitus reference lol. Sometimes I think the stories are too good to be true...like when my dad and his friends got drunk with Butthole Surfers on their first tour ever XD (1981)
Lol totally. I guess my dad and his friends were 18 and every weekend they'd go to O'Banions (punk club in Chicago) for the Saturday night show (that is unless there was a big name at the Rosemont Horizon). One night it was an unknown Butthole Surfers on the lineup. Nobody knew what to think of it because it was the first time anyone had heard "noise punk" before. But my dad and his friends loved it. So they made conversation with Gibby Haynes who was the same age as they were (18). He was so cool to my dad and his friends that they left the show and went to as many bars as they could haha XD. Next time Butthole Surfers tour, my dad said he's gonna go with me to see them to see if they remember him haha
that's a real cool story... that's the stuff you will remember ..... like i met the guys of Repugnant on Wacken 1999... hanging out with Tobias Forge... look what success he has with Ghost these days.... and when Repugnant toured Europe as support for Macabre, they invited us... hanging out all day with the guys of Macabre was totally cool.....yeah, good memories....
thanx my friend... love this one... not the least for the pix... funny to see them at such a small stage.... i've seen them a couple of times in big stadiums.... man, imagine you were at the first shows of those big bands in small clubs.....

One of my fav albums of all time. This is when Rush was GREAT. I will always love and respect them, but the early days were the best to me.
