LaVey made it famous, but it was created by Stanislas de Guaita at the end of 19th century, member of Rosicrucian cult. The symbols are Hebrew letters that spell out the word 'Leviatan' (the great beast) when read counter clockwise from the bottom, but this boot pressing doesn't get them right. Why a fucking insult?
