This edition looks great! I feel a bit iffy about this trend of pressing and album on two discs when one would be enough. It makes listening to it more cumbersome than it has to be with all the flipping and disc switching. Yeah I know, the whole charm of analogue formats is the extra hassle, but enough is enough.

It looks like it was a labor of love. I kind of agree with you about the double discs. It seems unnecessary.

Indeed, I'm a sucker for song-specific illustrations. It adds an extra touch the same way a chapter in a book gets extra depth when a well placed/executed illustration is added(by the way, why isn't books illustrated anymore, fuck...).
I've heard something about multiple discs enhancing the audio quality, but I don't know. To me it just seems like a sales pitch to add some $ to the price.
