It took me way too long to pick up The Endless River—stoked as all hell to spin it a couple times tonight.
I have only heard one Death album, that being Human (and I fucking LOVE it). Fucking PUMPED to toss Sounds of Perseverance on my ipod and shred it at work for the next long while.
aaannd finally, Ritual, the only Black Dahlia Murder album I have yet to hear.

Nice, need to get The Endless River myself. Pretty enjoyable album actually. Way above what i expected.

It is amazing. Louder than Words is a hell of an ending to that album. Tad disappointing that it is pressed on four discs, each side being grooved in about halfway. It is annoying having to flip every twelve or so minutes for an album that doesn't even hit fifty in length. I guess it looks better than having a side A, B and C vinyl release with a blank side D, though.

Yeah I never got the point of that either. Supposedly it increases the audio quality, but I don't know. If there is a difference at least I can't tell. I'd rather have 2x 33 rpm discs. They could always etch something cool into the blank side. ;)

that would have been cool. Yeah I find the difference to be very minimal if not unnoticeable.

Its a very enjoyable album and rather relaxing, I had it on while driving up to the mountains I wanted to fall asleep haha, I think its lacking something in parts, But in no means awful.

I love it. For me, it really feels like "The Division Bell: Disc 2"; some sort of spiritual successor and/or "lost files". Going into this I was expecting vocals on at least one or two more songs, though.

I haven't listened to The Division Bell for quite sometime...I'll have to revisit it, I had a feeling it would lack vocals, Some songs need it and some don't in my opinion.

I instantly became okay with the rest of the album not having vocals once they started up in Louder than Words, the song was well worth the wait haha
