You won't like the remixes then. They're not my cup of tea either, they're certainly interesting for people who like electro stuff or the artists who did the remixed versions, the Laibach remixes from 1994 were great though. But Illud is an album I like.
Then I shall avoid. Thanks for the heads-up. Yeah can understand some love for certain tracks. I guess I'm just biased to Domination and want everything to emulate that.
It was always hard for me to imagine, how vinyl, that shaped differently than standart/classic form, would get played. I have a strange thought, that it will jam because of it's shape... I'm just thinking out loud)
Can't say much of remixes, but there is some good songs in Illud Divinum Insanus.
I haven't played this one, because of the shape, so I can't confirm what you're imagining haha.
The remixes are not my cup of tea, they're not like those made for Covenant songs which were still recognizable. Here they sound very different from the originals. But Illud is a nice record yeah, I like it.
If I had this vinyl, then I wouldn't play it too, it would just serve more in a decorative way, put it somewhere on a visible spot and enjoy the view!)
Laibach made a decent job of making their remixes memorable. They just added their own musical/style elements to it, creating some sort of hybrid, that could not left you indifferent, some hated it, some loved, but it is definitely easy to remember.
Indeed, mine is only decorative haha.
Yeah I've really enjoyed those Laibach remixes. By the way, it's less known, but 2 songs from Blessed have also been remixed by The Berzerker, for an Earache compilation from 1998. The name of this compilation was Extreme Metal meets Extreme Techno, which sounds really close to what Trey wanted to do on some Illud songs actually. And those remixes sound very similar to those Illud songs, or should I say, some Illud songs sound very similar to those 2 remixes. And it was in 1998, and nobody complained about that haha.
Well, in 1998 internet wasn't developed that much, so it was pretty hard to spread negative reviews, and opinions were more indepenent. Interesting info on Blessed remixes, I need to check it, thanks! I dig some of industrial/electronic music, so it should be enjoyable for me. I think by 98 Trey only began his journey to such music. Still remember photo of him playing Quake III Arena.

Do you mean the remixes album from which this single comes from, or Illud Divinum Insanus ?

The album Illud Divinum Insanus. I've not heard this single. But if it's like the album I won't bother.
