Haha, yes the bonus track is really good, I have no idea why they didn't put it on the regular album. But be careful. It took me a while to track the right one down. There are 3 UK versions:
1) The regular Sony/Epic Records version - 12 track CD
2) The Sony/Epic Records Limited Edition version - 12 track CD & bonus DVD
3) The Hassle Records Limited Edition version - 13 track CD & bonus DVD
LOA was on Sony/Epic Records at the time & Epic released the album. But for some reason Sony decided not release the album in the UK when it first came out.
So a smaller label called Hassle Records paid them for the rights to release it as a LTD EDT and they also got exclusive rights to the bonus track...not exclusive rights to the album, just that song.
A few months later, Sony/Epic decided they did want to release it in the UK. So they put it out too. And just to confuse things, they put out a limited edition with the DVD along with the regular version.
So if you are interested im the bonus track make sure you get the version on Hassle Records.
The Sony/Epic LTD EDT with the DVD is more common but it is also a "UK Limited Edition". It doesn't help that they look identical except for having the Hassle Records logo and the bonus track written on the back.
I found one online & had the seller send me pics to confirm it was the right version. He sent me a shot of the back of the case & it said Hassle Records, it had the extra song and the DVD.
But when it arrived from the UK, the CD itself was the Sony/Epic version and didn't have the song. I was not happy because it wasn't cheap & I only wanted it for the bonus track - the DVD does not work on US DVD players which I knew...So I was literally buying it for the one song that it didn't end up having.
Someone had switched the CD disc trying to ripoff.
When I finally found another one, I had the guy take a picture of the disc itself - it has the tracks written on it lol.
oh....OK....thx very much for the very detailed explaination of this versions!!! Sounds a bit tricky to get the correct version. Ill try to get it..for sure..hehe... Thx very much for the advices dude, incredible knowledge :D cheers :D
YW I became so informed when I tried to track down that one song...and it was a pain so I figured I would let you know so you don't end up with the wrong one like I did...twice...but the 2nd time wasn't my fault lol
meaningless on
seems i have to get me a UK copy too..
