I got to see Bulge back around 1990 at, of all places a college campus event room in western Massachusetts. That was fun. I never met GG,though I know a number of people who have. My favorite story that I heard was from this woman who worked with him at a hospital in Manchester New Hampshire. This was in the early, middle 80s. She said he was odd but very nice.
Had to be when he was driving a laundry truck that would go around to hospitals and old folks homes and such, and yeah would’ve been early 80s or even late 70s. GG never worked a real job after like 83/84. I’ve actually got a job resume of his from the very early 80s and it lists that laundry truck driver as one of his previous jobs on it lol. Only reason the resume even survived / exists today is because the set list for a Jabbers show was written on the back and the guitarist kept it all these years, I got it from him along with a bunch of other GG / Jabbers stuff like idk 7 years ago or so.
