A greatest hits record from possibly the most underrated hard rock band of all time, Grand Funk Railroad. They were (and still are) a favorite of my dad's and it's really a shame that Mel and Don were assholes to Mark. Long story short, it was a legal battle over the name and they won (along with the rights to the songs that Mark had written). What's even more of a shame is that both Mark and the current GFR do carnivals when they should be playing sold out arenas like they did almost 45 years ago.
Interesting. Last week I wrote a few paragraphs about Garcia for my thesis.

It's sad what Mark had to go through with the other two,he even cameout and said put everything aside and lets do one more tour for the fans,I was lucky to catch them on the first reunion tour and they tore the house down, sad is what these guys sang about is actually what is keeping them from making that magic happen one more time.

Well, we can hope that one day Mel and Don will open their eyes to realize they're playing in bars, casinos, and carnivals and say, "Gees, maybe we can ring up Mark and give it another shot."
