hm..buh... ahm.. they started as AmbientFolkSymphonicBlack-THING..i would say...with every release... less Black/Dark Metal and more AmbientFolkAcoustic-Stuff. This one here (and the 2x7"-gatefold pic-vinyl i have posted) are pure acoustic. I rly like it i must admit. A friend of mine gave me the tip. Very untypical for me..this kind of music..but Empyrium have something..which catch's me :)
btw. The BLACK metal in the description counts mostly for the Vocals only.

this track is a older one..still with BM Vocals (maybe our BM Lovers here would call this Vocals different..but for me..its screaming BM..but..its ok even for my ears ;) )

u know...normaly its not rly 'my' music...but.there is something..i cant rly explain, why i like this one, even the old stuff. But what i can say: it took me some time to get into it..but rly started to like it then. My friend said: u must u must u must..so i was listen it over and over again..haha..and well :P i started to like it then..haha
