Blue Öyster Cult - The Metal Battle
Very weird album. I can't find any information about it being an official release, and the entire album seems to be mostly made up of the soundtrack that BÖC created for a movie called Bad Channels. Oh well, i'm a huge BÖC fan and i got it for a dollar so i'm not complaining.

According to the Discogs entry for this one, it's on the Dutch Weton Wesgram B.V. label and was released in the EU. Oddly though, it adds, "All tracks on this album are re-recordings made by the original artist or one or more members of the original group" so it sounds like an odd one for sure!

Feels like a very 70s/80s thing to do. Scam artists used to put out records touting the NEW Black Sabbath or the NEW Iron Maiden and then it turned out to be either a 12" 45 featuring a 15 minute interview or a bunch of covers by German longue jazz artists, lol.
