Dutch Doom Death Metal legends ASPHYX are back with another extremely energetic sign of life after their bonecrushing and highly acclaimed “Death…The Brutal Way” studio album comeback from 2009. “Live Death Doom” represents not only the band’s first official DVD release, but it will also be available as 2CD and Digital Download audio-release, actually marking ASPHYX’s first-ever official live album in their 20+ years of (diabolical) existence!

ASPHYX drummer Bob Bagchus comments on the release as follows: "Here it is...the first official live album ever for ASPHYX! And a 100% real one! This amazing show in the Turock in Essen (Germany) was initially filmed just in case something could be used for a video-clip or whatever, but this show was so awesome, wild, intense and with such a great atmosphere in the end that we thought "what the hell...let's do a whole DVD/live album of this brutal show!".
