IRON MAIDEN Powerslave / World Slavery Tour original enameled metal pin (1984).
One of the most beautiful 80s pins around. This one was sold during the World Slavery Tour in 1984-1985.
It is well known among collectors to be prone to lose some of its cloisonné enamel parts. That's the case here, with 2 blue bars and 1 yellow missing.

Nice one! The back piece is a pain to get open and the colors on the front come off easily but great vintage pin.

Cheers! Mine opens very easily (have you checked the wire spacing of the pin's triangle which works as a spring?), and I know about the enamel pieces coming off, but so far so good here! ;)

I did! It looks like it’s sealed shut by the previous owner with pliers I think that’s the only way I’m going to get it open

You mean that the hook where the pin end sits has been shut with pliers?

I see, that's the old-school technique for your badge not to come off once pinned on your jacket, I did this with some of mine. ;) Weird that it's closed whereas it's off of a jacket though. Just use a thin, solid metal bar of sort to carefully lever it open. I'd use a little precision file as an example.
