Iron Maiden - Powerslave - Back Patch 1984 (White Coffin - Blue version)

😱😱😱 It was a long hunt, and a tough negotiation, but finally I managed to get my hands on this mint copy of the "blue version" white coffin Powerslave back patch. Such a stunning and rare version of this back patch so I'm over the moon to finally have it. 🤘😫🤘
I've added a side by side comparison of the different versions of the white coffin back patches where you can see all these versions are really different from each other. My favorite is the "orange version" as it has more details and is sharper. Curious to hear which one you prefer. 😉

Thank you so much for those kind words! 😚 My favorite licensed Powerslave back patch is the Sarcophagus (lower left). It's so majestic and the colors are amazing. I love the green in that patch as well.
If the Mummy (lower right) would have been covering the full patch I might have gone for that one since that is one of my all time favorite Eddie.
Of the white coffin versions the left one, the "orange version" is my favorite. The details are just better for me.

Very hard to choose haha! They are all so great... But I think I probably agree with you, the one on the bottom left without the white - the colours on it are just beautiful..

Is this a fully completed collection now or are there more versions out there?

I know there is one other variation of the white coffin. Take a look at the left one on this post: https://tshirtslayer.com/patch/iron-maiden-powerslave-1984-im-holdings-l... As you can see on the arms there is no "sheen" and they are more less uniform in color whereas the others have different colors in them.

I'm surprised about how many different version there are are of certain patches. These are not simply minor color variations, as you can clearly see they are significantly different. It would be nice to once hear from a someone who was actually involved in the manufacturing process about why this is.
Take a look at the Killers back patches (https://tshirtslayer.com/patch/iron-maiden-killers-back-patch-1981-6th-v...). For now I have 6 different versions with a 7th different one on its way as we speak. I have no idea where it stops 😂 The rabbit hole is deep!

Amazing BP collection, I hope to get one of the powerslave sarcophagus BP’s one day I don’t even care which color scheme/background details - they’re too expensive for me currently maybe one day they’ll be cheaper but doubt it

The Powerslave patches are just so wanted and everybody jumps on it when they pop up on eBay or Facebook. When I started collecting I quickly realized many collectors/patch fanatics are into trading so I got myself some stuff for trading. That seemed to have worked well for my collection. Keep (actively) searching and I'm sure that one day you will get your hands on one. 😉
