There's plenty of photos out there from the early days. And Darrell was still in his teens when these first 3 records came out so he was definitely still a kid for the most part.

Thanks man, yes he was "Diamond" Darrell long before the image adjustment took place. Saw them live for the 1st time around 1984 at Six Flags in Arlington, TX after "Projects in the Jungle" had just come out-

Really amazing sentimental passage you made here. Love all the personalized items. Especially that promo photo. That's got to be the very first one and most likely the rarest. You must have had this stuff well protected in the vault. Everything looks pristine. Enjoy the memories. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks again man! Yea, I've had those first 2 records since 1984. Met them when I was 14 yrs old at a "record signing" in the mall. They were just a local band at the time and nobody had any idea who they were including myself. It's a funny story I'll have to tell you sometime.

Thanks man, I like the original Pantera- especially "I Am the Night" and "Projects" but damn if they didn't have some of the most amateurish album cover artwork and logo design in the early days. I thought it was lame even back then when I was a kid, ha!!!
