Doom metal is metal to me :) But really dude, I'm not a troll, I just think that a fedora is not a part of metal culture, while leather jackets are a part of various cultures, some designs being a part of a certain culture, you're really digging your own grave man. I'm gonna say this 1 more time and if it doesn't penetrate your thick skull I'm afraid nothing will, fedoras are not a part of metal culture what so ever. This website is dedicated to metal, nothing more nothing less, go post your fedora somewhere else. I'm not a fan of fedoras myself, I sure as shit wouldn't look good in one, and i'll agree that fedoras are usually worn by people who are total douchebags, but who here has the right to judge what clothing is and is not "metal"? all of you braying about how fedoras have no place in heavy metal culture - you don't like being judged by what you wear, yet you're doing it to someone else. I don't know about anyone else but for me, that attitude is very much against what metal means for me.
No offense to anyone here, I respect everyone's choice to express themselves as they wish but all you finger-pointers going on about what is metal and what isn't - I gotta tell you, you might think you're going against the grain by dressing the way you do, but when you get a bunch of metalheads together at a concert or festival - a lot of them look an awful lot alike, lots of denim, lots of leather, lots of black shirts, patched vests, long hair, gauntlets, spikes, etc... you get my point. I say if a metalhead wants to be different from the rest of the crowd and wear a fedora, all the power to him.

also, wich metalhead would really feel like they are diffrent wearing bandshirts and battlejackets, every one knows its not.
we have seen battle jackets on other people, thats why we wanted to make our own, no one just makes a battle jacket not even knowing what it is, and goes to a gig and is like "fuck.. i wasn't the first to do this''.
and this person wearing a fedora doesn't mean its part of metal culture. it is kinda defined what kind of clothes and interests are reletal to metal culture (not owned the the culture, just really common within the culture), that doesn't mean it's impossible to wear other things, just means wearing other things doesn't make them part of the culture just because a metalhead is doing it.
but in the end, i think the uploader is just taking a piss anyway.
