I'd love to see them at least once. But I can't afford the high price for tickets. The amount is insane to me. I'm used to $60-70 tops for major headlining bands such as Slayer, Maiden, Rob Zombie, etc. Even fests (excluding 3 day single location ones, such as Psycho Las Vegas, Frost and Fire, Hellfest, etc)!
But I can't justify paying $120 total. For one band. I love Metallica, but unless they charge something sensible (which I doubt any more), I'll more than likely be listening to live audio or watching a live DVD/VHS.
Same here.. They were in Germany just some weeks ago and I couldn't afford a ticket but I definitely wanna see them once in my life! Next time when I'll have the chance I'll take it!
never got to see them; i love them but i cringe at what this band has become over the past 20 years or so... that said i would gladly give my left nut if i could go back in time and see them anytime from the mid-80's to the early 90's; that band was on fire live back in the day, i would have loved to see them from the pit if i was old enough back then!
Twice, '93 'Nowhere Else to Roam' Tour and '98 'Poor Re-Touring Me' Tour. '93 best for sound. Super loud and crystal clear. '98 complaints by idiots living near venue had noise restrictions brought in. Still awesome but lacked that raw power of '93. Checked out FOH and their 19" inch rack mount cabinet gear. Just nuts for '93!!!!
