Your friend was wrong man :\ the border has been roughed up enough to look almost passable for the original version, but if you notice the weave is really pixelated looking and doesn't blend very well.

§ 433 BGB für die Sachmängelfreiheit und § 434 BGB greift bzgl. des Sachmangels (hier: es hat nicht die vereinbarte Beschaffenheit, weil Boot statt echt). Notfalls verweis auf die Sache mit arglistiger Täuschung. An sich muss er die Versandkosten auch tragen, aber das seh ruhig als Lerngeld an.

Joah, solange du stornieren kannst, ist alles ok. :3 Wenn er motzt trotz §§, lass einfach die Ebaykeule vom Stapel - der Verkauf von Boots ist dort net erlaubt und dann ist er bei Meldung seinen Account los. XD Entweder er wird schnell einlenken oder sich versuchen dumm zu stellen, lass dich net abwimmeln und Hauptsache Geld zurück. ;3

it's a boot from German, he just uses Chinese factory and that's all. almost every patch maker (boot or official) uses Chinese factory nowadays.

Seems like the German China-man has a lot to answer for. Ive noticed lots of his abominations being sold on eGay as officially released patches by him and by other seller. People are being burnt everywhere. I dont care if you bootleg or release patches - i just dont agree with replicating/reproducing patches that already exist - i just dont see the point. Make up new patches of bands and/or records that havent been patched before. The same goes for CDs/LPs. Why boot if they already exist? Yep, some are a lot harder to find because of the scarcity - but they do exist. And i know they cost a lot but thats because they are rare.

But it is exactly this point that he has the advantage these great sales: because the patches that he is making boots versions are rare, and very expensive automatically. And people want these rare models, and not easy to find others. From my viewpoint, these reissued versions of old models is a great alternative for those who want these patches and can not find, and when it finds any, the prices are very absurd. And not only the patches, vinyl and K-7, Cds, everything that has a great demand in the heavy music market are victims of it. I see the problem in vintage boot, when sold as a patch from the original 80's. In this case the bad faith of the seller becomes an abominable thing for everyone. But there is also the dark side of the old orignais: who has one wants to take huge advantage over the negotiations (2 or more old patches + cash by one patch only) or sales (insane prices). And we have many examples here TSS and Ebay. In short all sides in this story has a bit of guilt about it.

I also send pics of the patch to ebay for them to see the difference between the two patches ( the one I got & the one he posted ). All that he said was it wasn't the patch he has sent.
And I agree: one day he will pay somehow ... that's karma ;)
I reported him as a seller of bootleg to ebay ... really curious how they will decide.
