Got more cd's since the top composition pic was taken, updated collection further down.
Primarily interested in Dead-era bootlegs.

Vinyl:
-Mayhem 'Deathcrush'/Morbid 'Decembermoon' split, lim. 156 copies
-Live in Leipzig pic disc
-"Tribute to the Black Emperors" pic disc (demos from both, again), lim. 1000
-"Carnage" pic disc (Freezing Moon is other side, both the only studio tracks with Dead), lim. 1000
-Live in Jessheim blue vinyl (earlier live gig before their 'Dawn' one, dunno what year this was pressed or how limited, but got it from a Norwegian dude in january 2004)

CDs:
(official)
-Deathcrush, original on Deathlike Silence
-Live in Leipzig digi
-De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, 2nd press
-Grand Declaration of War digi (picked it up for a buck)
-Chimera digi
-Ordo Ad Chao tin box, signed by Hellhammer
(boots)
-"Tribute to the Black Emperors" original on Warmageddon
-"Last Breath: Last recordings with Dead" (same last rehearsal from 1991 as 'Out from the Dark' boot)
-"Dawn of the Black Hearts" (one of most re-released boots ever, mine is on Anti Grishnackh 001, which is pretty sweet)
-Mayhem/Darkthrone demo split, "True Legends in Black"
-"Of Lord Satan's Mysteries", containing some early rehearsals with Dead, and killer album art compiled from Dead's own drawings
-"The Return: Live at Bischofswerda", the first live show after Euro's death, 1997, lim. 1000
-DVD-r of Mayhem's rehearsal with Dead

Plenty more nasty blasphemies out there... the morbid journey is far from over.

Tshirtslayer owns these pics under Creative Commons license, so I dare you no-life hipster yuppie unclefuckers who visit this site without registering to try ripping these off... You will be found out and shamed. For every pic you steal without giving credit, the Pole of Scorn drives deeper up your ass. My boot > your face.

Who's that dude in the deathlike silence booklet?

FarFarNorth's picture

Itยดs Scott Burns, the producer of some big-name Florida death metal bands from that period, thus the embodiment of the kind of big metal scene these guys were against.

Is your "Dawn of the Black Hearts" copy a Warmaster Records release

5
FarFarNorth's picture

No, the Warmaster release of this album is serialized as 'Lust2' while mine it can be seen is serialized as 'Anti-Grishnackh 001'. Another difference is that the Warmaster copy only includes the Sarpsborg gig, and weirdly enough it has a bar code. Euronymous's letter about Dead's suicide is on the back CD cover, while mine has it inside the booklet spread. There are also many variations in the front cover, to tell the pressings apart. Warmaster release I believe has the album title and date in red at the bottom, while the CD itself is black and says only "Mayhem 666". The second pressing of the album has a black border around the front cover, and that is when earlier Mayhem tracks started to be added. Some also have more transparent letters. The pressings all differ slightly. But I enjoy the anti-Burzum malice on mine, and given the sentimental value plus the trouble in obtaining it in pre-ebay times I wouldn't exchange it for another pressing if given a chance.

thank you very much for the very detailed explanation, you got to be the biggest Mayhem fan I've ever seen, I will like to see a Warmaster Records copy, you know is kind of interesting how the music was made in the old days, send the artwork, the tracks and all the things from Norway to Colombia to got a record, fuck, this guys was REALLY True Metal fans, and I admire them so much for that, amazing collection my friend.

Wow, I totally love the black/white picture LPs! These look really awesome, they still have the classic black vinyl look but are still more than that.

Generally really impressive collection (though I don't know too many of these albums)!
