==> Iblis from Endstille
==> Legion when he was at Marduk
==> Mortuus at Marduk (thousand fold death is just a venomous way of spitting his lyrics he does there, it's sensational) and a goddamn sick job with Funeral Mist.
==> 105 from Sotajumala, he did the vocals on Deathmetal Finland, goddamn insane job, Mynni from Horna took over later and did a good job too but goddamn 105 on Deathmetal Finland...Pfeeewww !
==> Ilkka from God Disease, Ashen Tomb and Virulent Life, his Deathmetal vocals/grunts are fucking insane.There's hope for the new generation with guys like him doing vox.
===> WILDCARD/Honourable Mention....Jens Ryden during his time at Naglfar, pure fucking venom, together with Kristoffer, but je-fucking-zus does Jens rule on those older albums.
1) Eric Adams (Manowar) - the best there will ever be for my money
2) Ronnie James Dio - a phenomenon of a vocalist who was almost always at the peak of performance
3) Mr Curse (A Forest of Stars) - There are at best a handful of black metal vocalist who holds a candle to his performances live and on record
4) Barditus (Lugubrum) - A proper rotting, creaking old wine barrel of a throat
5) Hansi Kurch (Blind Guardian) - more comfortable in the mid range for power metal, but the power, clarity, and emotive force of his voice is a wonder to this day.
Honourable mention to Yannis Papadopoulos of Beast in Black, Warrior Path, Sacred Outcry for being so thoroughly excellent that bands call on Daniel Heiman to replace him - a massive talent.
