I wanna sell a few of my patches but I've been thinking a lot about the international shipping prices. When I went to my nearest Canada Post, I asked for registered shipping prices and used Germany as country for reference. I also considered shipping rates to the U.S.

Wow, 53CAD / 37 euros. Some others a small difference but still crazy to me.
While it's way cheaper for smaller patches of course, backpatches are a whole other story. Is it the same for the rest of the people here from Canada? Or is it just an issue with my local Canada Post?
Should I consider other postal services? Haven't tried them though. I've only ever sent a few patches through Canada Post before.
It just feels weird knowing I pay far too less for registered compared to people abroad when I buy from them (usually around 4-12 euros for registered if I remember correctly). Some of the patches I'm selling have a pretty low value, let's say 20 euros. People from European countries would have to pay nearly double the price for it to get shipped to them if they wanted registered.
Either that or maybe I'm just missing something and not seeing the full thing lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s $20 usd for me to ship to Canada or Europe. Should be the same for you.

You have to make a Canada Post Small Business account and it significantly reduces the cost of tracked shipping internationally from Canada. I can send registered anywhere in the world for about 25 dollars as long as it's not over a certain weight limit.
