reapplying ink to printing on faded shirts

Näkro-OrcSun, 19/05/2019 - 15:31

Hey folks,
wanted to ask you lot something and wondered if any of you succesfully did this before and how.
I have faded old backpatches and shirts of the old-school variety (usually screen-printed, right?) I want to give a "refreshed" look. One-colored logos I am thinking of re-applying some ink permanently.

You know, where the print is faded, has lost some ink over time, or has those slightly torn spots.
Now I am wondering, what particular types of ink would be the best choice (I have read about three different now...).

And if anyone has done this before, does it actually look worse if the ink comes off over time (again...)? How to avoid that?
Looked through the how-tos in the forum. If this topic has been tackled before, I would be just as grateful if someone gave me link, of course!
