Having lived in a bubble for a long time and being the fact that deathmental is not my main choice in music, I have never really seen such a band play live. But this Thanksgiving holiday I will have the pleasure to see Cannibal Corpse and Hour of Penance live! Im pretty excited about this as Hammer Smash Face was the first extreme metal song I ever heard at a young age of 12.
I want to get to get close to the stage so I can get Hour of Penance to sign my Lord Vampyr cd (as members of H.o.P. played with Lord Vampyr) but Im a little nervous as I am hearing some stuff abotu Cannibal Corpse and the pit they ususally generate at gigs (in a weak little twigboy afterall :P). Anyone ever seen them live and could tell me what to expect out of the crowd there?

My first Cannibal Corpse show ever was about a month ago. Not really impressive, I have to say. They didn't communicate much with the fans, and they only played 10 or 11 songs, most of them are newer stuff. I was expecting more stuff from Chris Barnes era, especially Tomb of the Mutilated. Still great live performance, though.
