Hey doods I'm starting a Megadeth tribute vest and am trying to find as many official megadeth patches as possible. I want them all to be official, the only thing is, when it comes to a lot of them... they aren't marked with any kind of copyright. I'm pretty late to the patch collecting game and am not as familiar as some of you with how to tell which ones are legit or not.
So I'd like to try and put together a list that I can work from - it would be much appreciated if anyone could post ones they know of so I can begin the hunt. 🙏🏻

I'm still waiting on some to arrive and on the look out for more so that I can post and add them onto the vest. Hopefully I'll finish the tribute some time this month so you can also take some cues. These will be the ones that I will work with for sure. I will buy a few more but not too many I think. I don't an overcrowded vest.

I understand you go for woven patches only. The printed patches are cool, but I also have a strong preference for woven patches. Some of the printed patches don't look that great.
For my (probably) jacket I will most likely do a vintage back and modern front. The back patch I will use is an official Killing is My Business. As soon as mine is finished I will post it and let you know 🤘😁🤘

So the square radioactive symbol is official or a bootleg? Oldmate said above that he thinks it's a bootleg. Or are there two different versions and how can you tell?
The embroidered radioactive patch is official. It has a sticker on the back with the licensing (see picture). It's an iron-on patch, so brace yourself when you decide to sew that on 😒 If you don't know what hell is....then sew on that iron-on patch and you will be in the pit of it 😂😂
The other embroidered patches I don't know whether they are official or not.
Regarding the woven radioactive symbol, I have honestly no idea. I thought it is official, but I would go with Oldmate his information. I think he is quite long in the collecting scene.
How to see whether something is official or not stays a debate I think, but there are some guidelines to determine they are official. 1) Licensing, 2) on the back it says 'Made in England', 3) Some people sell dead-stock unlicensed patches, but in 'original packaging', 4) ask the old school collectors.
