How do I add a lighter to my battle vest and make it work with out buring my jacket

So I have this 3 cool lighters one is lost but I will find it sooner or later anyways the lighters are as follows a zippo lighter a pipe lighter with running gas and a lighter with a push button I want to know which one would be the safest to use with out either giving my self a horrible 1 or 2 degree burn or a char to a patch or my battle jacket

Try finding a lighter lanyard and attach that to the inside of a pocket

I have a pouch with a clip for my zippo, but it’s usually on my belt. You could get one and just clip it to some inside pocket of your vest.
