Fixing printing on shirts through iron over?

Yoschi29

Title says it: I just looked at my Priest shirt from the 2015 tour and saw that the printing is already going off a little bit. I never iron over my shirts and always wash them by hand so I don't really understand why it gets destroyed this little bit so fast. Would it help to iron over the printing once to fix it in the shirt?
I hope you understand what I wanna do and can tell me about your experiences.
Cheers!

I'm afraid any kind of interference...heat or cold will damage the print...its all about cotton really...some cotton holds it well, some doesn't. I don't even think its the way it was printed and what method they used. From what I understand shirt material is the catalyst here.

Everything has a half-life. It's just the way it is. The only way to keep a shirt in perfect condition is to seal it in a zip lock bag and never use it.
