This amazing festival just unveiled a ton of bands playing next year and it looks fantastic so far. I've already paid for my ticket and hotel room. My friend and I are heading back to the land of 187,888 lakes.
I was really disappointed by these announcements. I've been there every year since 2016, but I think I'm going to skip the whole festival next year if they are not going to improve and announce something actually interesting. I mean yes, seeing Morbosidad, Horna, Mysticum and Deiphago would be great, but I'm not going to spend a fortune just for them.
I'm satisfied overall with the announcements but I'd like to see what they add over the next several months. The bands you mentioned are ones I'm looking forward to seeing (especially Horna) but I'm also looking forward to seeing our old school Death Metal legends Immolation who I love and haven't seen in about three years. I love the Norwegian band Aeternus who I don't expect to ever see here in California (or anywhere else in this country for that matter). Belphegor and Asphyx are also bands that I hold a positive opinion of and I know from experience that they're both great live. I'm interested in seeing Evil, Nargaroth, and Hyvinkää's resident Emperor worshiper Vargrav. I'm seeing Morbosidad on September 1st, so that'll be a nice preview for me. I understand though that these announcements aren't going to please everyone. I would however like to think that the organizers are listening to the fans' requests.

Excellent! I'll tell you something, it is extremely well worth the time and money. This will be my second time and I cannot wait.
