I love sloppy improvised noisy solos, dave chandler of Saint vitus, tom warrior of celtic frost, trey azagthoth of morbid angel and johnny x from psycho are some of my favorite guitar players....

In metal? There are too many to name, but a personal favorite of mine is the leads in Manilla Road's Flaming Metal System. Still blows me away, years afer first hearing it.

For non-metal bonus points, the solo in Uriah Heep's Salisbury is one I've been enjoying recently. You hear that wah pedal click and you know shits about to get real. Its just amazing.

Anthrax - i am the law.
Especially the "bouncy" part of the solo. Might not be the most flashy solo but i really like the guitar sound and for lack of a better term the bouncyness :-)
