My vest is getting tight but it has gaps and small spaces that I'd like to fill in. I've seen other vests that have small cutouts from woven patches. How do you do it?
how I've seen people do it (haven't done it myself) is just cutting it, then burning the edges. With a lighter, some I've seen who did it while heating a needle and going over the sides
I did mine with a soldering iron, it went pretty well from my point of view. I have the result in my profile, but I am just too lazy to copy the link now, sorry. ^^
But heating(melting) the new shaped edges is key, so the open threads don't rip apart as time goes on.
So far my input on the topic, but I think I also read something about shaping in the forum section here!
