Just a heads up. I have it on good authority that there is a bootleg of the coveted Bolt Thrower Spear Head poker. Here is a pic. Left one is the boot. Notice the obvious tone difference as well as the error on the eye socket. It's a solid boot but a boot none the less!

Is it a recent botleg or an older one? Thanks for the pics!

I don't know for sure. Just started seeing them around lately. My concern is whether or not they're being marketed and sold as legit.

Eep... I just paid some money for one of these... where did you hear the one with the hole in the eye is a bootleg?
PinJunky on
From the person producing them.

Is that the PewterPunk guy in the UK?

This is some next level bootlegging ... What the fuck !

They're actually really solid. I've seen some horrible boots of this one in particular.

I was under the impression that the ones with the hole were made by Pagan and the ones without the hole were made by Poker.

To my knowledge only Pagan made BT pins.

Just found this on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/293723881835.

I believe that is the original, notice the support bar connecting the Chaos spike at 10 o'clock to the horn. That's missing from the pin on the left that PinJunkie posted.

Possibly but I really can't see a company like Pagan releasing something with a blemish. Most anything I've seen from them has been top notch.

Here it is.

Someone with a modest amount of metal working know-how could make a killing by faking these old pewter pins... and unlike with bootleg patches, distinguishing the replicas from the OGs would be just about impossible.
