These are not leather patches, they have been treated with a little paint.

Hi there, I guess the bands didn’t get tagged in the initial upload. But yes, “Envenometal” is correct, I painted the entire vest with black acrylic along with the patches. It gives it a grimier and more dirty look, as well as I do not wash the vest at all and just air it out in the sun.
