The historical significance of "pre-nazi" swastikas bares no relevance to wearing one today, the odd (usually white) hipster trying to "reclaim" the swastika is vastly out numbered by the millions of people murdered historically and the violent oppression that still continues to this day under the banner of the swastika. Not that im assuming you care about these people, given the bands and their ideologies you choose to support by wearing their logos.

I love runes, i love their historical significance and the meaning behind them, and no matter what i think about them i know the swastika, is not for reclaiming, it is for burning.

Maybe not here, but I thought that was part of the reason for being so adamantly opposed to far-right politics in general. It just feels to me that people here are more upset about the fact that the uploader likes Der Stürmer than his actual personal ideologies, since he has stated twice here that he has no problem interacting in a civil manner with people of different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. I doubt his musical tastes are a 100% accurate depiction of his views of the world anyway. Bringing awareness, etc. I know that's already done by Antifa folks by limiting the number of venues such bands can perform at and so on, although I can't say I'm happy when that extends to non-NS bands due to misinformation, but that's an entirely different topic.

Yeah, This debate goes alot deeper than patches and battle jackets... in an ideal world other approaches would be preferable, but we are far from the luxury of an ideal world and i believe any approach is better than no approach.

It is useful to remind everyone that Der Sturmer are all active members of the greek neo-nazi party Golden Dawn, whose members (in collaberation with the police) are responsible for the murders of immigrants and anarchists alike, I suppose stabbings might seem appropriate for some people, given the amount of hatred and anger felt towards neo-nazis and their beliefs.

But it's hard to justify having the majority of the bands explicitly NS without being, at the very least, comfortable with those views.

True, but the NS bands seem to take priority with either huge back patches (Der Stürmer) or multiple patches of the same band (Goatmoon, Der Stürmer, Spear of Longinus and, on a lesser level, Satanic Warmaster/The True Werwolf). And it doesn't help your case when you get less-informed people mistaking the patriotism of Peste Noire or Stormheit for NS. I mean, you get the average non-NS guy here sporting an Absurd or Grand Belial's Key patch on their jacket, but it's a bit hard to argue that you don't, at the very least, relate to some of the views with a vest like that. But in the end, who gives a shit? It's your vest and you can listen to and support whatever you want, as long as you're aware of what you're putting your money into.
