The Kreation has returned...
New for December 2018.
I wore my Kreator tribute battle jacket for the first time a couple of weeks ago at Kreator’s European Apocalypse gig in London (it seemed appropriate!) and discovered that my original concept of leaving it at shirt length actually wasn’t as practical as I’d hoped. It was quite comfortable initially but just felt too long in the pit... These things are important!
To rectify this for the future, I shortened the torso to the equivalent length of a conventional jacket, which has reduced the length by 12cm (4.7”). This wasn’t a wholly simple process due to my adding internal pockets previously, which - along with several patches - needed to be removed completely before the tailoring could take place. Once the length was correct and I’d re-hemmed the bottom, I reattached the internal pockets (complete with lanyard and obligatory Maiden ‘The Clairvoyant’ patch) and repositioned the patches I’d had to remove, as well as adding some more.
Finally, I got rid of the collar; I found it annoying on this jacket, mainly I think due to the thinner material meaning it rucked up more by comparison to, say, a denim jacket. It actually now looks much better too, I think.
Layout changes:
Moved:
*Large logo patch (repositioned at an angle, lower front left)
*’Terrible Certainty’ pentagonal patch (repositioned in - higher - equivalent placement to where I had it originally, lower rear right)
*’Endless Pain’ (to make room for large logo, centre front left)
Added:
*Logo strip patch (lower right side)
*’Enemy of God’ patch (lower front right)
*’Violence Unleashed’ boot (right chest pocket)
*’Phantom Antichrist’ patch (left chest pocket)
*’Pleasure to Kill’ boot (rear lower off-centre)
*Multiple logo circular patch (rear left)
*’Behind the Mirror’ printed patch (lower rear left)
*Logo pin (top left front)
Overall a much better fit AND more Kreator too. Win.
The Kreation will return... \m/

Thanks. I tried to keep it simple so as not to disrupt the camouflage pattern. It actually looks much better in the flesh than in these pictures...!

Awesome update mate, you deffinantly have some amazing needle skills.

Ha! Thanks. I’m a dab hand with a sewing machine. That sort of thing could only ever get recognition here!

Wicked. I've been thinking of getting one but don't know what sort to get.

Recommended. What you can achieve, customisation-wise, increases so much.
I use a Singer Heavy Duty machine. They’re not cheap but equally it’s not a MASSIVE outlay and I definitely wouldn’t be without it now.

Yeah I used one back in school haha and enjoyed it.
Cool I'll have a look-see, cost doesn't worry me, I just didn't want to get a cheap one prone to break, especially going through denim.

Singer Heavy Duty with the right needles has your back. I use it on my military kit and everything, including denim. There isn’t much it can’t get through!

Sweet, sounds like it will do the job and then some! You serve currently or retired?

It’s pretty robust!
I’m still in. 18 years and counting...

Sick, any questions I'll spam your pm haha.
Oh wow that's amazing! Thank you for your service.
